Workforce Programs at Detroit Training Center
Detroit Training Center offers four workforce programs to teach the necessary skills to obtain a career in a skilled trade.
DTC Workforce Programs are all-inclusive and include job placement assistance.

Detroit Training Center offers several options for our Workforce Programs
Out-of-Pocket
Split Payment
Students may make a half payment prior to the class and a second payment prior to receiving their certification.
Workforce Funding Programs
Students may be eligible to receive state workforce funds.
Students within the City of Detroit may call 313-962-WORK to determine their nearest service stations.
Other students may visit https://www.MichiganWorks.org/michigan-works-network to determine their nearest service station.
After calling and telling a case manager that the student is interested in a DTC program, the service station staff will be able to guide the student through the process of receiving funding.

Detroit Training Center Workforce Programs are 4-7 weeks long and have new cohorts beginning frequently! Your DTC Career Counselor will work with you to figure out what’s best for you.
