RRP RULE noun. rule requiring firms that perform renovation, repair, and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and pre-schools built before 1978 have their firm certified by epa or related state, use renovators certified and trained by epa-approved training providers, and follow lead-safe work practices.

RRP Lead Renovator Refresher – 100% Online

 The EPA is now allowing the RRP REFRESHER course to be taken 100% online every other re-certification.

 On February 17, 2016 EPA completed changes to the Lead-based Paint Program.  The Lead Renovation, Repair & Painting (RRP) Refresher Course, will no longer require a hands-on component and can be completed 100% online every other re-certification.  Renovators who take the online training will be certified for three years, while renovators who take the class room with hands-on training will be certified for five years.
