By submitting payment for this workshop, class, event, or activity, I acknowledge and agree that my payment constitutes my electronic acceptance of this Agreement.
I understand that participation in construction, home improvement, equipment operation, and other hands-on training activities involves inherent risks, including the risk of personal injury, property damage, or death. I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with my participation.
To the fullest extent permitted under Michigan law, I release and hold harmless Detroit Training Center, BCN Services, its owners, officers, employees, instructors, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from any claims, demands, damages, liabilities, or causes of action arising from my participation, except to the extent caused by their gross negligence or willful misconduct.
I agree to follow all safety instructions, wear any required personal protective equipment, and immediately notify an instructor of any unsafe condition or injury.
I certify that I am physically able to participate and understand that I may discontinue participation at any time if I believe conditions are unsafe.
By completing my payment, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this Participant Agreement & Release of Liability.
By making this payment, I give my permission to be interviewed, photographed, and/or videotaped by DTC or any media outlet that has granted permission to do so by DTC during and after my participation in the program.
This will be used for promotional, instructional, and marketing ] purposes (primarily for social media and website purposes). I understand and agree that such materials may be distributed to the public and displayed publicly one or more times and in formats, including but not limited to print and digital media.
I also understand that this permission to use the text, photographs, and video in such material is not limited in time and will not receive any compensation for granting this permission.
