Cooking with Cocktails
at Detroit Training Center is a 240-hour workforce development program that provides participants with the skills and knowledge needed to work in the food and beverage industry.
The program covers a variety of topics, including:
Basic cooking techniques
Cocktail mixology
Food and beverage service
Customer service
Restaurant operations
Participants in the Cooking with Cocktails program will gain hands-on experience in a commercial kitchen and bar, and will have the opportunity to work with industry professionals. Upon completion of the program, participants will be prepared to work in a variety of food and beverage establishments, including restaurants, bars, hotels, and catering companies, including partner hiring employers.

Schedule: Full-time, daytime
Cost: Free of charge to eligible participants
Eligibility: Must be 18 years of age or older and meet other eligibility criteria.
