Are you a homeowner interested in learning the basics of roofing - from what shingles to buy to how to apply them to your roof. We will work outside (weather permitting) on both symmetrical and non-symmetrical roofing shingles. We will have hands-on opportunities for you to remove and apply shingles from a wood shed roof.

Detroit Training Center hosts Homeowner Workshops every Saturday. These cover home improvement projects or repairs and typically last two hours.
